The Victoria & Albert Museum in London will have an exhibition called “Grace Kelly: Style Icon” from April 17 to September 26. There will be over 50 of Grace Kelly’s outfits, together with hats, jewellery and the the original Hermès Kelly bag. Dresses from her films will be shown, as well as the gown she wore for her Oscar award in 1955, and her haute couture gowns from the 60s and 70s. There will also be film clips and posters, photographs and her Oscar statuette.
For my readers in London, this looks like an exhibition definitely worth seeing.
For those who can’t get there, you can get the new book “Grace Kelly Style: Fashion for Hollywood’s Princesses”, which is an accompanient to the exhibition and can be ordered through Amazon.
