Eva Marie Saint in North by Northwest (1959)

Eva Marie Saint’s wardrobe for the film was originally entirely chosen by MGM studios. However, Hitchcock disliked MGM’s selections, so the actress and director went to Bergdorf Goodman in New York to pick out her clothes.
