Out of the films that fit into the 1910s-1960s range, some of my favorites are Mädchen in Uniform (1931), Knife in the Water (1962), Sunset Blvd. (1950), The Scarlet Empress (1934), Rebel Without a Cause (1955), In a Lonely Place (1950), The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967), Diary of a Lost Girl (1929), Dial M for Murder (1954) and Monkey Business (1952), but there are so many others that I haven’t mentioned. The Cranes are Flying (1957) is also one of my new favorites.
